Mayor Kenneth T. Welch's City Hall On Tour series is back! The City of St. Petersburg leadership team will host a series of open house-style tour stops at different locations throughout St. Pete. These tour stops aim to listen to and educate residents about the many functions and resources available from City departments.

According to Mayor Welch, "These tour stops aim to listen to and educate residents about the many functions and resources available from City departments." This year's tour stops will take place at local educational institutions to support Mayor Welch's Education and Youth Opportunities Pillar for Progress and will focus on workforce development.

Mayor Welch also introduced Mayor's Future Ready Academy, which aims to connect St. Pete's young adults aged 18-24 with employment opportunities and prepare them for long-term career success. Speaking about the initiative, Mayor Welch stated, "Recently, Mayor Welch introduced Mayor's Future Ready Academy, which aims to connect St. Pete's young adults aged 18-24 with employment opportunities and prepare them for long-term career success."

The first of three tour stops this year will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Pinellas Technical College. All tour stops are family-friendly, and food will be provided by local vendors. The upcoming tour stops are scheduled at St. Pete College, Gibbs Campus on June 12, 2024, and USF St. Petersburg on September 18, 2024. All events are free and open to all St. Pete residents.
