Admiral Farragut Academy issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
Mrs. Neri’s English 2 and English 2 Honors students participated in a Digital Figurative Language Escape Room. The title of the escape room was “Snow Day: Escape Being Stranded at School.” Students were paired into groups and had 45 minutes to unlock 7 locks with figurative language clues given for each lock. Students had to work together to solve the clues before the time ran out.
Ms. Calder, our Media Specialist, assisted in putting this interactive activity together. Students completed a reflection at the end of the escape room and rated the activity. Students said they really enjoyed this learning experience and had a lot of fun.
